13 precautions for mold hot runner installation

hot runner technology has become an important field of plastic injection molding process by virtue of its unique technical advantages such as cost saving and shortening the molding cycle. The installation of the hot runner is directly related to the quality of the product. The following are the precautions for the installation of the hot runner:

place the mold, level the upper mold, and clean all the holes and templates with an air gun

check the size of each hole, focus on the depth, and remove the burrs on the template. At the same time, the fixing screw of the driving pin may loosen due to vibration and insufficient tightening. Check whether the screw hole of the lock splitter plate, as well as the center pin and anti rotation pin hole have been processed. The master who makes the hot runner mold for the first time in this place often misses it

sweep red lead on the hot nozzle sealing position and the upper step where there is no impact vibration phenomenon, which are two parts matching with the mold

try to install the hot nozzle, and then remove it to check whether the sealing position rubs red lead and whether the step position touches the mold. If not, stop the installation, check the cause of the error and adjust it to ensure a tight fit without material leakage. Be careful not to damage the tip of the mouth during this process

install all the hot nozzles, and install the center pad, center pin and anti rotation pin at the same time, and sweep red lead on its plane

check the nozzle plane and the height of the center pad, and the error is controlled within 0.05mm

try to install the shunt plate. Pay attention not to omit the hot nozzle sealing ring when formally installing the splitter plate

check the cooperation between the splitter plate and the hot nozzle to ensure that all of them touch red lead and that there is no glue leakage

arrange the hot nozzle routing to be neat and beautiful, and number the lines in sequence for every 5.1 (Q3 2013: 1.728 billion euros) increase, and connect the lines to the plug-in box

formally install the splitter plate, lock the fixing screws of the splitter plate (pay attention to lock the balance and keep the height of the four corners of the splitter plate consistent), and control the meson material of the splitter plate.
